2020 I had high hopes for you!
If you had 2020 foresight what would you have said to yourself in December 2019?
I’m guessing I would have spent most of January hugging all the loved ones in my life.
That’s a gift of sorts from the ragbag of uncertainty and worry that’s been the takings of 2020. The small stuff is precious: a hug, a handshake, a meal with friends.
Can you remember the simple, pleasure of popping for a cuppa to your favourite local cafe without a mask or hand sanitiser in sight!
And that’s got me thinking about the close of this year. A time to take stock on a year we’re all just so ready to leave behind! December’s a month to relish, food, family and festivities. It’s a pivot point, just as we pass the Winter solstice, the days start to stretch that little bit longer, and we know we’re moving forward to Spring!
To set the truth north of our compass into 2021, a few questions to help you steer your path forward:
What will you take with you from 2020 into the year ahead? And what will you leave behind? What are your priorities for the year ahead? What would you like to feel in December 2021 as you look back at the year?
Write your answers -and look at them on the 1st of each month.
Wishing you a happy healthy 2021!
